The facility and our many of the courses taught there, including this one, are approved by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (approval no. PCE 4912) to provide Continuing Education Units (CEU's) to Marriage & Family Therapists (MFTs) and Licensed Counseling Social Workers (LCSWs). The courses listed below qualify for CEUs.

Rick developed his own methods of hypnotherapy and has taught them in his own hypnotherapy school, through The Healing Shoppe, and as a previous faculty member at HCH Institute in Lafayette California, one of the oldest and most respected hypnotherapy schools in the world. This is your chance to study with Rick, learn his secrets, and become a Certified Hypnotherapist (CHT) in a credible, personalized, life changing hypnotherapy training program. Many past students liken the personal growth they excperience in this training as equivalent or better years of regular therapy.

There are no prerequisites for this class except for fluency in English and to be at least 18 years of age or 16+ years of age & have written permission from your parent or guardian. This course gives you 200 hours of credit. (160 hours of classroom training and 40+ hours of outside study and projects) Classes are held at The Healing Shoppe & Learning Center in Upland, CA.
In this comprehensive course, you will learn everything you need to know about hypnosis, as well as practical suggestions for running your own hypnotherapy business. You will learn many methods taught nowhere else that we know of, and you will learn many of the secrets of one of the premeire hypnotherapists in California if not the world.
Graduates of this course are eligible to participate in The Healing Shoppe & Learning Center Hypnotherapy Intern program to obtain their Clinical Certification to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. There is no out of pocket cost to participate in the intern program for Healing Shoppe and Learning Center Certified Hypnotherapist Training graduates. When you choose to continue on in our Clinical Intern Certification Training program you will work with real world clients under the supervision and tutelage of an experienced and seasoned hypnotherapy professional. Upon completion of the intern program, you receive an additional certificate and the title of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist (CCHT).
There are no grades given in these courses, but you will receive a certificate of completion after attending all required hours.

HYPNOTHERAPIST CERTIFICATION TRAINING
This course is made up of 4 separate 50 hour modules consisting of 40 hours of classroom work, and 10 hours of independent work for each level. The next training is an ACCELERATED TRAINING and will be 3 months in length rather than the regular 4 months. The course consists of the same number of hours, but meets more often than regular trainings. Dates for the next/current training are:

July 9,10,15,16,17,23,24
August 6,7,12,13,14 and graduation on the 20th
Classes are held 9am to 6pm each day with 1 hour for lunch. You can miss and then "make-up" classes if there are a few dates that you are not available. The course outline is basically as follows, but may change slightly from time to time:

TUITION/FEES/FINANCIAL AID: The Total Tuition for all 4 levels is $2400. There is a $100 one-time registration fee for this course whether you sign up for one level or all 4 levels. The registration fee is non-refundable unless you are denied admission to the program. The course is taught in 4 levels at $600/level (plus the additional $100 one-time registration per student).
If you register and pay for all 4 levels up front (at least one week prior to the start of the first class), you save $100/level ($400 savings total). This makes the discounted total cost of The Hypnotherapist Certification training $2000 plus $100 for registration. MC/Visa/Amex/Discover

SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of partial scholarships are available depending on financial need. Applicants for scholarships should apply as early as possible for the training program, and should demonstrate a true desire to become a hypnotherapist.

Refund Policy: We offer full refunds to all students for all tuition paid as long as it is requested at least 7 days prior to the start of classes. The $100.00 registration fee is non-refundable, but may serve as the registration fee for re-enrollment in the same class within one year.

Absentee policy and issuance of CEUs: If you are taking the Hypnotherapy Certification class and wish to get continuing education units for the training, you must meet the same requirements for CEUs as for certification. To obtain your Certification, you may miss no more than one full day of training. You may, however, make up any time missed by arranging it with the instructor for the time missed.
